Recently, the renowned technical magazine PLUS (Leuze Verlag) published a report on our processes for high-end PCB coating. Editor-in-chief Volker Tisken and editor Sven Gramatke go into detail about our ENIG and ENEPIG processes in the 6-page technical report and show the possibilities of our DIG process.

Compact report based on a virtual process conversion 

The report is based on last year's successful ENIG / ENEPIG process conversion at our Austrian customer Piu-Printex, whereby the individual processes are explained in detail. In addition to our division manager for PCB applications Andreas Groß, Georg Pohanka as CEO of the Viennese company also has his say. He describes from the customer's point of view the virtual changeover under pandemic conditions during ongoing production and the reasons for, or from his point of view the necessity of the changeover due to increased requirements.

The technical report is closed with an outlook on the challenge for new layer systems in high-frequency technology (HF). Our Direct Immersion Gold (DIG) system is mentioned as a possible solution.
